Harry Vonray Swayne, Jr. 87, of Plainville, died October 14 at Boston Medical South in Brockton. He was the husband of Karen L. (Ness) Swayne for the past 15 years.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, September 28,1938, the son of the late Harry V. Swayne and Mary Liggins Meyers, Harry was raised in Philadelphia and had lived in Plainville for the past 15 years.
Harry had been a mental health therapist for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for many years.
Harry enjoyed cooking, fishing, football, especially the Eagles and was a real people person.
Harry loved nature, animals, art museums and classical music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Antoinette, Harry and Alexandre and his stepdaughter Jennifer.
He is also survived by several grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to Crossway Church 282 Summer Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
