Michael (Mike) Piccetti, of Jamaica Plain, MA, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the age of 88. Mike was born in Boston on September 28, 1937. He lived in Boston and Jamaica Plain for most of his life, but also in Dennisport, Cape Cod. He was the son of the late Pasquale and Marie Piccetti and is survived by his twin brother, James Piccetti, to whom he was very devoted and with whom he had a life-long bond. He was the brother of the late Febronia Bonnie Baram, the late Frederick Piccetti and Josephine Melchionne. Mike was uncle to Jayne Baram, Sandra Pugsley and her husband John, and the late James Baram. A special great uncle to Katherine, Jessica, Brian and his wife Barbara, and John Pugsley and his wife Angie, and also to James Jr, Shane, Brad and Sarah Baram, and special great, great uncle to Nolan, Sarah, Cameron, Emily, and Andre.
Mike was a man of many talents, having worked briefly in carpentry and also attending culinary school. However, he found his passion in navigating the city as a cab driver. He retired from a lengthy career at Yellow Cab of Boston, where he loved driving and enjoyed meeting new people. He was a kind and gentle person and a person of deep faith. He will be greatly missed by his family. Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, October 21st at Saint Bernadette Church, 1031 North Main Street, Randolph at 10am. Internment at Saint Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
