In Loving Memory
of Angelica “Quisquella” Cruz Rosado
November 6, 1944 – October 12, 2025
Angelica Rosado, best known to all as Quisquella, passed away peacefully on October 12, 2025, surrounded by those she loved most. She was 80 years old.
Born on November 6, 1944, in Bayamón, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Esteban Cruz and the late Amelia Reyes. Angelica made her home in Lowell, Massachusetts, where she raised her family and built a life filled with love, laughter, and strength.
She is survived by her daughter Diana Rosado and her husband Geraldo Santiago of Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico; her daughter Ana Davila of Lowell, MA; and her son Julio Rosado and his wife Maria Rosado of Lowell, MA. She was predeceased by her beloved son, Joe L. Rosado of Lowell, MA, whom she missed dearly.
Angelica was part of a large and loving family—she had 16 siblings, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews who adored her deeply.
Known for leading with an iron fist but a heart bigger than the earth itself, Angelica brought joy to everyone she met. She was famous for dominating the domino table, sneaking candy to her great-grandchildren, and slipping table scraps to the family pets. She cherished bingo nights with her family and was happiest surrounded by loved ones.
Her greatest gift of all was her ability to give — and spread — genuine love.
A celebration of Angelica’s life will be held at a later date so that family and friends may gather to honor her memory.
