Maxime Jocelyn, 68, of Brockton, passed away peacefully at home on October 11, 2025.
Born in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, he was the beloved son of the late Cius Jocelyn and Therese Jocelyn. Maxime devoted his professional life to healthcare, working as a healthcare manager. He was also a dedicated member of the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church.
Maxime found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He loved watching soccer, traveling, appreciating cars, and most of all, spending time with his family and friends. His warm presence and generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his five children: Henzy Jocelyn of Quincy, Hakeem Jocelyn of Dorchester, Barbatt Jocelyn of East Providence, Keeshanie Jocelyn of New Jersey, and Tajmah Jocelyn of Quincy; his former wife, Marie Carmen Nirva; five loving sisters: Immacula Jocelyn Guillome of New York, Jacqueline Job of Canada, Suze Jocelyn of Canada, Nadeje Jocelyn of Dorchester, and Margalie Jocelyn of Florida; and his cherished granddaughter, Ezra Marie Gilmore.
Services in the Brockton Temple Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 235 Court Street Brockton, Friday October 31st at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing from 8:30 am prior to services.
