SPRINGFIELD - Gloria M. (Michon) Plouff, 76, of the Forest Park section of Springfield, was Called Safely Home on Sunday, October 12, 2025. She passed into Eternal Life at home surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Springfield on May 17, 1949, a beloved daughter of the late Jean V. and Jeannette M. (St. Jean) Michon. She was raised in Springfield, graduated from the High School of Commerce in Springfield and was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She was employed as a School Bus Driver with Bruce Transportation in Springfield and had previously worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant at Mount Saint Vincent Nursing Home in Holyoke and Saint Luke's Rest Home in Springfield. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Springfield. During her leisure time, she enjoyed shooting, gardening and fishing. Above all, she loved spending time with her family and many friends. She leaves her beloved daughter, Michelle R. Plouff of Springfield; her chrished grandson, Tyler Plouff and his fiancee, Yarelys, pf Springfield; her dear sister, Victoire "Vicky" Kwolek of Springfield; her dear brother, Rene Michon of Weavertown, NY; her former husband, Gerald L. Plouff; her dear nephew, Douglas Michon; her dear niece, Sherry Michon; and her many dear cousins, extended family member and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her dear brother in law, Chester Kwolek; her dear sister in law, Shirley Michon; and her dear nephew, Robert Kwolek. Her funeral services and burial will be private. There are no visiting hours.
