Obituary

QUEENSBURY, NY - Keith A. Pacher, 59, of Queensbury, New York, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Glens Falls Hospital following a brief illness.

Born on May 9, 1966, in Webster, Massachusetts, he was the beloved son of the late Leo C. Pacher Jr. and Beverly (Martin) Pacher of Oxford, Massachusetts. A 1984 graduate of Bartlett High School in Webster, Keith played football and formed lifelong friendships that reflected his loyalty, humor, and strength of character. He later attended Quinsigamond Community College.

Keith proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1984 to 1989, achieving the rank of Corporal while stationed at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. His service instilled in him a lasting sense of discipline, camaraderie, and selfless service that guided him throughout his life.

He began his career with Verizon Communications in 1999 as an operator and, through hard work and dedication, advanced to the position of Manager in 2008. He worked for many years in the company’s Gardner, Massachusetts, office before relocating to Queensbury, where he built a close community of friends and colleagues. Keith was respected for his steady leadership, humility, and genuine care for those around him.

Above all, Keith found his greatest joy in family. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, and friend — known for his kind heart, quick wit, and warmth. A talented cook, he loved bringing people together around the table and found peace on the water, fishing, golfing, and boating on Lake George.

Keith is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Bonnie P. (Ceppetelli) Pacher; his cherished son, Corey Pacher; his mother, Beverly (Martin) Pacher of Oxford; his stepmother, Nancy Pacher of Dudley; his brother, Leo Pacher and wife Betsy of Davidsonville, MD; and sisters Jennifer Tsoumakas and husband Al of Dudley, Crystal Stevens and husband Danny, and Tiffany Pacher, both of Charlton. He also leaves a close family friend David Dion as well as many nieces, nephews, friends, and co-workers who will forever remember his selflessness and humor.

A Mass will be held Friday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street, Webster. Burial will follow in Waldron Cemetery, Dudley. Calling hours are 9:00–10:30 a.m. Friday at Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
