Ghislain “Lenny” A. Bedard, 90, of Londonderry, NH, passed away Monday, October 6, 2025, in High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 13, 1935, in Kapuskasing, Ontario, Canada, a son of the late Omer and Laura (Roy) Bedard. Lenny had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 33 years, formerly living in Salem, New Hampshire.
Lenny was self-employed as a general contractor for GA Bedard Construction Company building homes and excavating. Following retirement, he loved working in his workshop building sheds and making furniture and doing yard work.
Lenny is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Claire (Cote) Bedard; two sons, Richard (Rich) Bedard, Stephen (Steve) Bedard; grandchildren, Brianna, Noelle, Jared, & Spencer; great-grandchildren, Jaiden, Julian & Callum; and one sister, Rolande Dufour. He was predeceased by his grandson, Jordan Bedard in 2014, by his sisters, Giselle Garneau, Simone Germain, and Solange Lefevre, and by his brother, Yvon Bedard.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Friday, October 17th from 9:30am to 11:00am with a service to start at 11:00am in the Peabody Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. The burial will take place on Wednesday October 22nd at 11:00am in Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry.
