In Loving Memory of Erin Darcy
October 6, 1991 – October 2, 2025
Our beautiful Erin Darcy, 33, passed away peacefully on October 2nd, surrounded by her family and friends. Born and raised in Boston, Erin lived life with an open heart and a fearless spirit traveling the world with her love, Owen Howell, and creating unforgettable memories with the many friends who adored her.
Erin made life more colorful. Her laughter filled rooms, her compassion lifted others, and her joy reminded us all what it means to truly live. She loved bingo nights, her dogs (and the many she lovingly fostered), and the simple beauty of spending time with those she cherished most.
She left us far too soon, but her strength was loud and unshakable, and her love, boundless. Erin’s life was a beautiful reminder to love deeply, laugh often, and never take a single day for granted. Her spirit will live on in every laugh, every story, and every act of love shared in her memory.
Erin leaves behind countless family members and friends who loved her beyond measure. She will forever be missed by her mother Jeanne Darcy, her father Richard Darcy, her loving boyfriend Owen Howell, her brother Bobby DiPrimio and sister-in-law Lorna Brennan, her sister Colleen Darcy, their very best friend, Kaitlyn Bruso.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 11th, from 2:00–4:00 PM at Casper Funeral Home in South Boston to honor her radiant spirit and the joy she brought to so many.
To know her was to love her, and we always will.
