Velma Louise (Deyarmin) McCullough, 86 of Cookport, PA passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.
The daughter of Manuel Edgar and Ida Jane “Dolly” (Hadden) Deyarmin, she was born on February 21, 1939 in Montgomery Twp., Indiana Co., PA.
Velma was a member of the Pine Grove Church of God.
She married her husband, Gerald McCullough on February 23, 1957. They shared sixty-eight years of marriage.
Prior to her retirement, Velma was employed by King Leathers; Barnesboro Shirt Factory and worked in the Purchase Line School cafeteria.
Survived by her husband, Gerald and children: Brenda (Allen) Shirley of Cookport, PA; Bonnie (Tom) Liddle of Cherry Tree, PA; Steve (Becky) McCullough of Cookport, PA and Bob (Shelly) McCullough of Cookport, PA; seventeen grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren and many special nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her son, Gerald Martin McCullough; grandsons: Robert Gerald McCullough and Billy Stein; her parents and her ten siblings: Norman; Fred; Clair; Franklin, Raymond and Walter Deyarmin; Vera Pershing; Isabelle McDannell; Alice Sinclair and Marvel Walker.
