James J. LeBelle (Jim), 79 of Westport, passed away peacefully at Charlton Memorial Hospital on October 1, 2025, after a brief illness, with his wife and daughter by his side.
Jim was the beloved husband of Linda LeBelle, they shared 29 years of marriage, he was the son of Gerard LeBelle and Evelyn Ducharme and the brother of Gary LeBelle.
He is survived by his son, James LeBelle II of Twin Falls, Idaho, three daughters, Charlene LeBelle of Germantown, MD, Charlotte Morris-LeBelle (Melissa) of Fall River, Step Daughter Paula Brown (Peter) of Westport, and his Daughter In Law Holly LeBelle of Westport. Jim was predeceased by his Step Daughter , Cheryl Gauvin.
Jim was the proud grandfather of Rebecca, Meaghan, Isaiah, Vanessa, Téa, Willem, Savanah, Casey, Haleigh, Makensie and Olivia, great grandfather of Claire, Zoey, Xavier, Rowan, Nora and Marshall.
Prior in his retirement in 2013, he was a Senior Director Engineer at Hughes Network Systems.
Jim was an Air Force Veteran and loved traveling, being out on the Westport River, hanging out on the deck with his beloved dog III and, most of all, spending time with his family, especially his great grandchildren.
A Graveside Service to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Beech Grove Cemetery, 974 Main Road, Westport, MA 02790.
