Obituary

Julia A. (Hart) Sacco 75, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, at her home Monday September 29, 2025, following an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Norman P. Sacco, who died in 2012.

Born July 28, 1950 in Framingham, a daughter of the late Patrick & Julia (Kelley) Hart, she was a resident of Franklin since 1976.

She was raised in Framingham and eventually moved to Winthrop, where she was a graduate of Winthrop High School Class of 1969.

Julia worked as a processing clerk for John Hancock Insurance and was also a waitress at the former Union Cafe in Franklin.

She enjoyed following all the New England sports teams, bingo, fishing, Cape Cod and spending time with her grandchildren. Julia was a proud member of the St. John’s Missilettes of Winthrop and the 27th Lancers from Revere. Most of all Julia was devoted to her husband, daughter and grandchildren.

Julia is survived by a daughter Lauren N. Sacco and her longtime companion Keith Boyce, her siblings, Stephen Hart, Patricia Jarvis, and her childhood friend Jane Macken, whom she met in the 6th grade at St. John’s School.

She also leaves her cherished grandchildren, Shannon and Christopher.

Julia was the sister of the late Mildred Campbell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours Sunday October. 12th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 12-2PM.
