Alan Ronald Hoegen, 74, resident of Chelsea, Massachusetts passed peacefully at
Mass General Hospital on September 2, 2025 surrounded by his brothers.
Alan was born in Methuen, MA. on January 18, 1951. He grew up and attended public
schools in Lawrence, MA. He was the oldest of five brothers and leaves behind Michael
Hoegen and his wife Denise of Rochester, NH, Steven Hoegen and his wife Jane of
North Andover, MA, and Ronald Hoegen of North Andover MA, Sister in law Sharlene
Hoegen, widow of his brother John, of Derry NH. And many nieces and nephews.
Alan was predeceased by his mother, Laura Hoegen of North Andover, MA. and his
brother John Hoegen of Derry, New Hampshire.
Alan was a US Army veteran and he worked closely with those in recovery. He worked
many jobs in the Lawrence area but most notably alongside his brothers John, Michael and Steven at LPC of Lawrence, MA. He was a fan of all New England sports teams: Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics. He was also a music fan who loved old time rock and roll. In earlier years he enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Military graveside services will be held at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery
in Boscawen, NH on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 12:00
