Obituary

Robert “Bob” A. Antosh, 85, of Franklin, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025, at Whitney Place Tapestry Memory Care in Medway, after living with Alzheimer’s disease the last few years. Bob was predeceased in 2019 by his beloved wife Elaine F. Antosh with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.

Born in Milford, MA, Bob was the son of the late Walter S. and Eva (Rosolsky) Antosh. He was predeceased by his brother, Francis “Buddy” Antosh, and his sister, Cheryl V. Callahan.

Bob was raised and educated in Medway. At Medway High School, he was co-captain of the football team his senior year before graduating in 1958. Bob had a passion for automobiles and worked as a mechanic in Medfield in his early teens. In his early twenties, he and his best friend Bob O’Donnell founded A&O Service Center in Bellingham, MA, where they served the surrounding towns for auto repairs and auto body work. Later in Bob’s career he expanded into selling quality preowned automobiles before retiring in 2004. Bob was active in his community, acting as vice president on the Board of Investors at the former Medway Savings Bank as well as a member of the Franklin Elks and Medway Lion’s Club.

In 1960 Bob married Elaine, the love of his life. Together they raised their three children in Franklin; Aprile, Todd, and Kerri. Bob took immense pride in being both a Dad and Grampy to his family.

In his fifties, Bob discovered a passion for golf and became a member of both the Franklin Country Club and Quail Creek Country Club in Naples, Florida, where he and Elaine spent over 30 winters. He relished the many long lasting friendships he made at his home away from home. He especially looked forward to the visits from his children and grandchildren in Naples, creating memories together at Busch Gardens, Disney World, and other family outings.

A true sports enthusiast, Bob was a longtime NASCAR fan and held tickets to the Daytona 500 for over 30 years. He was also a loyal fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.

Bob is survived by his children: Aprile Albertelli and her husband Bill, Todd Antosh and his longtime partner Lorna Murphy, and Kerri Martin and her husband David. He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Billy Albertelli and his partner Mike Perlongo, Jen Albertelli and her husband Cam Towne, Meghan Martin and her partner Justin Lacey, Kelly Martin, and Samantha Antosh.

Bob will be remembered for his dedication to his family and friends, his kindness, generosity and, above all, his readiness to help anyone in need.
