Renate E. Bley, 86, of Derry, NH, died Saturday September 20, 2025 in the Arbors of Bedford in Bedford, NH peacefully in her sleep. She was born in 1939 in Backnang, Germany, a daughter of the late Karl and Klara Pfeil. She had been a resident of Derry for the past 53 years, formerly living in New Jersey.
She is survived by her husband, Ernst Bley of Derry; her son, Michael Bley of Rochester Hills, MI; her daughters, Iris Laflamme of Westbrook, ME, Regine Bley of Derry, and Monika Bley-Sullivan of San Marcos, TX, 7 grandchildren, Christopher Bley, Jeremie Bley, Martina Mitchell, Erika Laflamme, Jeffrey Pollard, Amanda Chadwick and Derek Sullivan. and 3 great grandchildren, including Simon Bley and Jeffrey Jr Pollard. She was predeceased by her son, Thomas Bley, and her brother, Werner Pfeil.
Following cremation, a celebration of her life will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium of Derry and Londonderry are assisting the family with arrangements.
