
OSSIPEE- Linda Jean Levesque, 72, passed away peacefully on September 24, 2025, at Maine Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born in Portland, Maine on March 21, 1953, and raised in South Portland in a loving family of five sisters and three brothers. She attended South Portland High School and the University of New England Biddeford campus for medical assisting. Growing up, she had many adventures in a family of nine and some of the things she enjoyed were: skating at Mill Creek Park, taking trips to Willard Beach, paddle boating at the family camp on the Presumpscot River, foliage trips to New Hampshire, and the most cherished was raising her own family. She lived in Arundel, Buxton, and a few other towns before settling in Ossipee, NH. She was a former employee at Fairchild Semiconductor.
She was a loving mother, Grammie (nana), great grandmother (nana), sister, aunt, cousin, friend, best friend and animal lover. She is predeceased by her parents Rudolph and Patricia Levesque, brothers Rudolph (Butchy), Robert (Bobby), and sister Charlotte (Lori).
Survivors include her daughter Tina Gillar, granddaughter Haley Zuluaga and her husband Chris, grandson John Gillar Jr., great grandsons Luis Christopher Zuluaga and Noah James Zuluaga, sisters Patti Libby and her husband Steve, Shirley Fortier, Beryl Levesque, Penny Berry, brother Phillip Levesque, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, an aunt and uncle.
She loved every moment spent with family and friends, creating memories that will be forever treasured. She was a joy to be around, and will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of meeting her.
Per her wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, you may choose to donate to your favorite animal charity. The family would like to thank the amazing staff at the Malone Family Tower.
