Elie G. Saba, 79, of Derry, NH, passed away Monday September 22, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 25, 1946 in Kousba, Lebanon, a son of George and Salma Saba. Elie proudly served in the US Army during Vietnam. He was an automotive technician and inspired many of his family to become mechanics. Elie loved to play Belot, a Lebanese card game. He also enjoyed reading the Bible and watching football. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Rida (Dib) Saba of Derry, one daughter, Sally Saba of Lowell, MA; two sons, Jayson Saba and wife Kristina and Chad Saba and wife Apparacida, all of Derry, four grandchildren, Elijah, Katia, Luke and Matthew; three sisters, Najla, Leila, and Aurore; as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, 44 Bowers Street, Lowell, MA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 25 at 10:00 am in the Church. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
