
Shaula Morris, 80, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Monday, September 22, 2025, at Navicent Health in Macon, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Crossview Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, with the Rev. Dusty Stoey officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Morris was born June 26, 1945, in Alabama, to the late Joseph & Leona Williams Carlisle. She was a Paraprofessional for the Ben Hill County Primary School and also worked for Communities in Schools. She was a former employee of Shaw Industries and KAMPCO. Mrs. Morris enjoyed fishing and growing flowers. She was a member of Crossview Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School, and was a member of the WMU and the Ladies Circle. Mrs. Morris also served with Constructors for Christ.
She is survived by her children: Rita Sims & Tony Lanier of Nashville and Keith Morris of Fitzgerald; grandchildren: Brad Satterfield & Meagan, Andy Satterfield & Denee, David Satterfield, Tristen Morris and Landry Morris; bonus grandchildren: T.J. Lanier and Nicole; great-grandchildren: Alaina Satterfield, Peyton Satterfield, Blakely Harrelson and Tate Lanier; and three sisters: Gail Gipson of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Karen Leviner and Wanda Carman, both of Fitzgerald. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, W.D. “Brother” Morris.
