Dianne A. (Castaldo) Fabiano, age 81, of Medford passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at the Winchester Hospital. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Michael and the late Mary (Baiungo) Castaldo.
A long-time Medford resident, Dianne was a loving wife mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She enjoyed a long career in retail, holding several leadership positions. She worked many years with the famed Filenes department stores, based in Boston. She also helped operate her family’s neighborhood store in Somerville. She was loyal to her many dear friends and always enjoyed being with her family.
The beloved wife of the late Patrick Fabiano, Dianne was a loving mother to Patty Federico. She was the dear sister of the late Elaine Sullivan and her surviving husband Richard. She was a dear aunt to Ryan Sullivan, Erin Blauvelt and her partner Antonio Restrepo; and was a great aunt to Haley “Jax” and Michael.
A graveside service will be conducted at Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Rd., Medford on Wednesday September 24th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
