Obituary

Richard A. "Mouse" Morin, Sr. 83, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, Sunday September 14, 2025 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth, following an illness.

Born September 15, 1941, in Milford, a son of the late Albert E. and Anna M. (Bishop) Morin, he was a longtime resident of Franklin.

Mouse was raised and educated in Franklin, and worked as an iron worker for Local 7 until his retirement.

Mouse loved tapping his toes to Johnny Cash and loved life to the fullest. He was absolutely the biggest prankster and people couldn't help but laugh.

He was known for his cooking, sky diving, hunting, scuba diving, racing at Norwood Arena and was the most loyal, honest & respectful person.

Mouse is survived by his beloved son, Richard A. Morin, Jr., daughter in law Chrissy Peck, his cherished grandson Hunter D. Morin and siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours Sunday September 28th, in the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. from 12-2PM.

Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Franklin will take place at a later date.
