Obituary

Jerome DiBari, age 84, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2025, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness.

Jerome, affectionately known as "Ronnie," was born on April 3, 1941, in the North End neighborhood of Boston to Josephine Albano DiBari and Nicolo DiBari. He spent many years working at Polaroid and later at Joseph’s Limousine Service. Jerome was known for his quiet strength and unwavering support for those around him. He had a deep love for cars, Boston sports, and—most of all—his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Marie Theresa Sinopoli DiBari, his childhood sweetheart, who was also born and raised in the North End. He is also survived by his brother, Joseph DiBarri.

Jerome leaves behind his three children: Karen Silva and her husband, George, of Chelmsford; Arlene Doyle and her husband, Alan, of Hudson, NH; and Jerome DiBari and his wife, Jennifer, of Wakefield. He was a cherished grandfather to nine grandchildren—Scott, Ryan, Korey, Kayla, Brandon, Britton, Gabrielle, Dominic, and Anthony—and a proud great-grandfather to seven great-grandchildren: Ania, James, Samuel, Camille, Reed, Alyse, and Liam. “Uncle Ronnie” was also deeply loved by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Josephine and Nicolo; his brothers, Nicholas “Barry” DiBari and Kenneth “Kenny” DiBarri; and his sister, Cheryl Wilcox.

The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to the care team at Lowell General Hospital for their excellent care and compassion during this difficult time.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday, September 23 from 4 - 8 PM, and again on Wednesday, September 24 at 11 AM, when a funeral service will be celebrated.
