Joe was born October 26, 1925, in Boston, MA and was the son of the late Peter and Paula (Ingegneri) Curro. He was raised and educated in Boston and had been a resident of Londonderry since 1995. Joe was a veteran, proudly serving in the US Army Air Corps (WWII) and later in the US Air Force Reserves (Korean Conflict) He was especially proud that he had grandchildren that followed him in military service.

Joe started his work life following his father in the wholesale flower business where he worked for many years alongside his brothers, Frank and Saro. He was offered early retirement benefits from Polaroid and eventually followed his sons to New Hampshire after living in Melrose, MA for many years. He did small engine repair services for a time out of his beloved barn.

Joe was a serious napkin hoarder! He had them stashed in pockets and all over the house! He enjoyed attending the Concerts on the Common and especially his breakfasts at Janie’s Uncommon Café whenever he could!
