David N. Faggioli, 82, of Riverside, RI passed away on Monday, September 8, 2025 at home. He was the husband of the late Darlene (Tavares) Faggioli and the late Wanda (Bibas) Faggioli. David was born in Fall River, son of the late David D. Faggioli and Rita (Couturier) Faggioli and had resided in Riverside for the last 18 years.
A devoted Jehovah Witness, David enjoyed sharing time with others exploring and practicing his faith. Prior to residing in Riverside, RI, He was a long time resident of Westport. David joined the Navy upon graduating Westport high school and served in southeast Asia as a distinguished member of SeaBee Team 0909.
Prior to retirement, he worked as a union carpenter for Local 1305, Fall River.
In his younger days, David found joy in playing softball, after softball celebrations, and of course, fishing. While in his latter days, he enjoyed more quiet activities like watching Turner classic movies, listening to music and reminiscing. He was a generous and passionate person, all though at times quick to anger, but quicker to forgive. Those that knew him would say he loved to give big bear hugs. He will be dearly missed.
Survivors include his daughters: Gale L. Brassard and her husband Marc of Westport; and Tracey R. Faggioli of Westport; his granddaughter Ashley Fisher of Westport; his 2 brothers: Michael Faggioli and Paul Faggioli, both of Westport; and his sister: Gale Gordan of PA.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, October 02, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home at 6:30 P.M.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, October 02, 2025 from 4-6:30 P.M. prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
