Christine Gregory, 78, of Poulan, died Monday, August 28, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2006, at 10:00 a.m. at Poulan Baptist Church. Rev. Carlton Goddard and Rev. Donnie Wright will officiate with burial to follow in Poulan Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Eric Goddard, Jack Futrill and Ronnie Pattie.
Ms. Gregory was born on December 25, 1927 in Poulan and was the daughter of Virgil Hardage and Paul Eve Robinson Hardage, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Benny Gregory; a daughter, Eva Gregory Tucker; four sisters; and one brother. She was retired from the Dougherty County School System as a lunchroom supervisor and was a member of Poulan Baptist Church.
She is survived by one sister, Viola Patten of Sylvester; two grandchildren, Amanda Fletcher and her husband Jeremy, Nikki Gregory; and four great grandchildren, Lee Stokes, Taylor Gregory, Eva Fletcher and Lexie Fletcher.
