Nancy Diane Vadnais
Nancy Diane Vadnais, 66, of Tewksbury, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. She was the beloved wife of the late Garvin Vadnais, who passed away in 2014.
Born on May 14, 1959, in Medford, she was the daughter of Ruth (Tabb) Perrin of Margate, Florida, and the late Frederick Perrin. Nancy’s family later settled in Tewksbury, where she was raised and educated. A proud graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School with the Class of 1977, Nancy was a cheerleader during her school years and went on to give back as a high school cheer coach for many years. She was deeply involved in youth sports and served as the longtime director of Tewksbury Cheer, where she inspired countless young athletes.
In addition to her work with cheerleading, Nancy was well known in the community from her years as a waitress, primarily at Friendly’s and Vic’s Waffle House, where her warm smile and friendly personality left a lasting impression on many.
Above all, Nancy’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her son, Timothy Vadnais and his wife Kawai of Burlington, MA; her cherished grandsons, Timmy and Tyler Vadnais; and her stepson, Christopher Vadnais of Lawrence. She also leaves her siblings, William Perrin and his wife Denise of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Ronald Perrin and his wife Nancy of Raleigh, NC, along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. She was predeceased by her sister, Holly Perrin.
A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held at a later date.
