Obituary

Keren Sue Snyder

November 3, 1959 - September 16, 2025

Keren was born in Fort Wayne, IN to Rev. A.F. and Eunice (McClure) Dreger. Being raised in a pastor’s home, Keren devoted her life to a continuing ministry of hospitality to individuals, church, and community. Her own home was the hotel for an endless stream of her family, friends, and pastors.

She will be remembered for her joy throughout the community as she cared for people who worked in the places she intentionally frequented. Keren graduated from La Porte High School and attended Anderson College (both in Indiana) where she met her husband, Delbert, of 45 years.

Keren’s family was her favorite joy. She worked as a substitute teacher in her children’s elementary school, as a bookkeeper and volunteer coordinator at East Side Church of God, and in their family business.

She enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking, traveling, drinking tea, and simply getting to be generous. Keren was a cancer-surviving warrior, remaining cancer-free following a stage 4.5 diagnosis in 2020.

She was preceded in death by parents, Rev. A.F. and Eunice Dreger, brother-in-law, Rev. Gene Fauntleroy.

Survived by husband Delbert Snyder, daughter Jennifer (Joel) Westman, son Mike (Crystal) Snyder, sister Becky Fauntleroy, brother Paul (Debra) Dreger.
