Pasquette Deshommes, 88, of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 2, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital β Saints Campus, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Anna Leon Dallegrand.
Born October 9, 1936, in Rossignol Grande-Saline, Haiti, Pasquette began his career as a teacher and built a life marked by hard work, resilience, and devotion to his family. He raised his children in Haiti before moving briefly to Florida in 2008 and later settling in Massachusetts. In his later years, he worked with Legal Sea Foods in Burlington, where he was admired for his strong work ethic and gentle spirit.
Pasquette will be remembered for his adventurous nature, especially his love for motorcycles, as well as his deep love for his wife, 14 children, 37 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren. His family finds comfort in the promise of Revelation 21:4: βHe will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.β
A service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025, at Beth-Union Haitian Seventh-day Adventist Church, 15 Lowell Blvd., Methuen, MA. Visitation will be from 8:00β9:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 9:45 a.m. Burial will take place at Edson Cemetery in Lowell.
