Londonderry- Virginia St. Cyr (Rheaume) died on August 31st, 2025, at the age of 96 in Palm Bay Florida after a brief illness. She was born in Dover NH on September 18, 1928 to Ferdinand and Myrtle (Beede) Rheaume. Always active, she was very involved in her community as a 4-H Leader, Director of the Chamber of Commerce during the 1960’s and 1970’s. As a Businesswoman/Realtor Broker she owned and operated Family Tree Realty, she was a member of the Board of Registration for Engineers Land Surveyors and Architects. She was very active in local and state government in New Hampshire serving the Democratic party in the 1970’s and 80’s and hosting potential candidates in her home. Notably, she entertained then Senatorial Candidate Joseph Biden and his wife in her living room for a social event.
She had a love to travel and ultimately fell in love with Maui, Hawaii and lived for 25 years continuing with real estate and paving the way for women in Business.
She had a passionate love of flowers, gardening and cooking; with an exceptional knack of taking nothing and presenting a gourmet meal. She loved her Family intensely and her children were her pride and joy. She leaves behind her daughters; Jeanne Perry of Asheville NC, Judy Zecha Lefavor of Palm Bay FL, Joy Salvini of Chester Mass, Jayne Braley of Alexandria NH, sons; Jon Rheaume of Boscawen NH, and Richard L. St. Cyr of Manchester NH., stepdaughters; Nancy St. Cyr of Orlando FL., Diane St. Cyr of Bar Harbor Maine and stepsons Robert St. Cyr of Manchester NH and Daniel St. Cyr of Manchester N.H. and dozens of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by her husband of 53 years Richard G. St. Cyr who died in 2018 and her first husband of 19 years Gerard Rheaume of Manchester NH who died in 1998. She will be greatly missed. There will be services held October 8, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.; immediately followed by a celebration of life at the Puritan Backroom 245 Hooksett rd., Manchester NH 03104.
