BRIDGEWATER ---- Robert A. Webber, 67, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at his home surrounded by family, after a period of declining health.
He was born in Plymouth, NH, on March 10, 1958, the son of Robert L. and Shila (Burbank) Webber.
Bob attended Newfound Area Schools. At 16 he found his love for logging and the sereness of the woods. An outdoorsman, Bob loved being in the woods and harvesting trees. In later years he would leave the woods behind and took a position with a local saw mill. If he wasn’t logging, you would find him building race cars for dirt tracks or on the track driving his car.
Bob leaves behind his wife of 33 years, Holly (Hunt) Webber, two sons Ashley (Raina) Webber and Adam (Tracy) Webber, two step sons Josh (Jen Hicks) Haney and Jeremy (Melissa) Haney, a step daughter Jamie (Ben) LaRoche, 11 grandchildren, a brother Kenneth (Erin) Webber and sister Sherry Webber.
There are no calling hours.
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date and will be announced when the plans are complete. For those wishing, the family suggests donation may be made in Bob’s memory to Speedway Children’s Charities, 5555 Concord Parkway South, Concord, NC 28027.
