West Bridgewater- Mildred E. (MacMaster) Feinberg, 88, of West Bridgewater died Saturday, Aug. 26, 2006, at home after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Samuel Feinberg.
Born July 1, 1918, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Sceles) MacMaster.
She grew up in Roxbury and was a graduate of Roxbury Memorial High School, Class of 1936.
Mrs. Feinberg had been a resident of West Bridgewater for the past 44 years, previously living in Ayer for 12 years.
She was a homemaker and an accomplished oil painter and artist.
Mrs. Feinberg was a member of the Bridgewater Baptist Church and enjoyed crafts, cards, sewing and traveling.
She was the mother of Carol A. Pratt of Carver, Linda J. Cassidy of Bridgewater and Stephen E. of Los Angeles, CA; grandmother of Michael Koski of Middleboro, Deborah Heath of Plympton, Melissa Donohoe of Duxbury, Julie Pratt of VT, Jared Cassidy of West Bridgewater, Shana Cassidy of East Bridgewater, Steven Pratt of N. Attleboro, David Pratt of Attleboro and Janice Durand of CA; sister of Evelyn Pirrello and Eleanor McKernan, both of Roslindale, George MacMaster of Dorchester and Joan Cady of Middleboro. Also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service in Central Baptist Church, 3 Nickerson Ave., Middleboro, Thursday at 11:30 am. Visiting hours in the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, Wednesday 4-8 pm. Burial in the Mass. National Cemetery Thursday at 1:30 pm.
