CORNISH - Beverly Martin Edwards, age 86, passed away on 9/11/2025 after a brief illness.
She was born in Portland. Maine on April 8th, 1939, the daughter of the late Leroy and Hazel
Martin. Beverly graduated from Cornish High School in 1959.
She worked at the Limerick shoe shop and later at Nordic Village in the housekeeping dept., until
her retirement.
Beverly enjoyed being around family and friends, working in her garden, and spending time with
children. She loved animals, and she loved to cook and make pies for her loved ones. She never
forgot to send a birthday card with a gift to the children in the family. Her favorite season was
fall and she enjoyed seeing the beautiful foliage.
She is predeceased by her husband, Melvin Edwards who passed away in 2009. Beverly is
survived by many cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 10th at 2:00 at the Riverside Cemetery in Cornish by
