Michael “Kat” Katsaros
1965 – 2025
Michael Katsaros, affectionately known as "Kat," passed away in his hometown of Lowell, Massachusetts, at the age of 59. Born and raised in Lowell, Mike spent his life building not only homes—as a skilled plasterer—but also strong relationships and deep connections with anyone who met him.
Mike is survived by his loving daughter, Kayla (Katsaros) Cloutier and his cherished grandson, Connor Cloutier.
Mike was the son of the late Dolores Wesinger (Cole) and the late Robert M Katsaros. As well as, the stepson to the late Richard R Wesinger. He leaves behind many siblings; Steven M. Katsaros, Debra A. (Katsaros) Kelly, Mickey (Katsaros) Flynn, Tammy Jo (Wesinger) Dowd , Richard (Ricky) Wesinger, Susan (Wesinger) McGee, Wendy (Wesinger) Harkins, Scott Wesinger, Michelle (Gunvaldsen) and the late Robert J. Katsaros and Dawn M. (Katsaros) Matte. His siblings made him the best uncle and blessed him with many adoring nieces and nephews.
Mike’s greatest joys in life were his family, cooking, and quoting his favorite movies—often all at the same time. His smile could light up any room, and his kindness knew no limits. He was the kind of person who would literally give you the shirt off his back and make a friend out of any stranger. Loud, joyful, and full of life, you always knew when Mike was around—his presence was impossible to miss and even harder to forget.
A Celebration of Life will be held on October 18th to honor and remember the incredible man he was. All who knew and loved Mike are welcome to attend and share in the joy he brought to so many.
The event will take place at The Knickerbocker Club in Lowell MA at 1pm Located at 36 Chamberlain St.
