Patricia Catherine (Rice) Davis, 89, of Franklin died peacefully September 4 at her home with her family at her bedside following a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of Murray S. Davis for the past 68 years.
Born in Milford, June 10,1936, the daughter of the late Peter and Irene(Delorey) Rice, Pat was fortunate to be loved by two fathers Peter Rice and Charles Rebecchi. She was raised in Medway and had lived in Franklin since 1961.
Pat had been an aide at the Wrentham Developmental Center for several years. She had also worked at Corning Medical in Millis, the New England Telephone Company , Frank Padula’s Farmstand and the Franklin Senior Center.
She loved the simple pleasures in life - casino trips, watching her sports, gardening and people watching and camping, but her heart was fullest when surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, as well as her children: Maureen and the late Mike Parnell of Upton ; Digger of Manchester, New Hampshire; Michelle Gilley and her husband Bobby of Bellingham; Charlene Larson and her husband Tom of Franklin and Michael Davis and his wife Mary of Franklin.
Pat is survived by her sister, Diane Rebecchi of Vancouver, Washington, and was predeceased by her siblings Steve and John Rice, Kathleen Donovan and Charlie Rebecchi.
She is also survived by her nieces Lynne Velluti and Constance Donovan Duquette.
She leaves behind her beloved grandchildren: Danielle and her husband Geoff, Nancy, Eric, RJ and his wife Melinda, Justin, Ryan and his wife Nicole and Madeline. As well as great-grandchildren: Mac, Dominic, Zakary, Hailey, Mason, and Connor. Also her extended grandchildren: Luke, Hayden, Jacob, Lilyana, and William. In addition, she is survived by many other nieces and nephews.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 10 in St. Mary’s Church, WRENTHAM at Noon .
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Franklin.
