Anne Marie (Kirby) Cogavin, 82, of Franklin, died peacefully August 28 at her home with her family at her bedside. She was the wife of the late Bernard A. Cogavin who died in 2011.
Born in Boston, August 30,1942, the daughter of the late William and Ann (Mombouquette) Kirby, Anne was raised in Jamacia Plain and had lived in West Roxbury for many years before moving to Franklin 19 years ago.
Anne enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Cogavin and his wife Elizabeth of Sturbridge and James Cogavin and his wife Joyce of Franklin.
She is also survived by her brother William Kirby of Hyde Park and was the sister of the late Jerry Kirby, Paul Kirby and Clare Kominck.
Anne is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Nicolle, Brenna, Seamus, Liam , Maura and Sinead.
Anne’s service will be private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place , Memphis, TN 38105.
