Worcester – Annemarie E. (Duquette) Barter, 76, a lifelong resident of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her home, while surrounded by her family on Friday, August 29, 2025.
Annemarie is survived by her husband, Bruce Barter Sr.; her three children, Edward Miner and his wife Elizabeth of Millbury, Amy-Lynn Miner of Worcester and Bruce Barter Jr. and his wife Karen of Nashua, NH; a step-daughter, Michelle Brewer and her husband Timothy of Millbury; five sisters, Lorraine Buxton of Worcester, Paula Rader of Framingham, Phyllis Whitney of Cherry Valley, Michelle Sullivan of Agawam and Robin Tetreault of Worcester; 4 grandchildren, Jacob Miner, Brianna Brewer, Lacy Miner and Lauren Miner and many nieces and nephews.
Annemarie was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Archelle J. Duquette and Lorraine A. (Giard) Tetreault. She graduated from the former David Hale Fanning Trade High School and worked for many years as a driver with the Worcester Regional Transit Authority and also assisting her husband with his photography business.
Annemarie was active in the community, volunteering for many years with the Worcester Child Development Head Start Program and also volunteering at the Maranville Little League in various aspects including coaching. She enjoyed to craft, knit and crochet but she was always the happiest when she was able to take her vacations to Disney.
Funeral services are being held privately and memorial contributions should be made to The Overlook Hospice Services 88 Masonic Home Road #2 Charlton, MA 01507.
