BELMONT ---- Leon Tucker, Sr., 78, of Randlett Street, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2025, at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord surrounded by his loving family.
Leon was born on December 6, 1946, in Boston, MA, the son of the late Homer and Catherine (Healey) Tucker.
He was the beloved husband of Joyce (King) Tucker, with whom he spent 44 years of marriage prior to her passing on October 5, 2015.
He resided in Charlestown, MA, and Stuart, FL, before moving to Belmont, NH. He was a devoted husband, father and Papa. He was most proud of his seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Leon was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed fishing and spending time outdoors. When visiting Leon, you’d often find him watching Westerns while drinking a hot cup of coffee and scratching his scratch tickets. He also enjoyed crafting and making homemade gifts for family, friends and neighbors. He always made sure to leave the world a little better than he found it by being kind, funny and outgoing. He will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to all the staff at Granite VNA and especially to Leon's son Brian for being a devoted caregiver for Leon for many years, providing such loving and compassionate care.
Leon is survived by his son Brian Tucker of Belmont; daughters, Annemarie Ogley of Belmont and Michelle Walsh and her husband, Thomas of Laconia; seven grandchildren, Kelly Luce and her husband Nate, James King, Jennifer Walsh, Danielle Walsh, Jeffrey Ogley, Jackson Ogley and Lilyanna Ogley; three great-grandchildren, Aubrey Boelig, Sophia King and Beckett Luce; sisters Barbara Raymond and Thelma Gagnon; brother Lawrence Tucker and many beloved family members and friends.
