Sullivan, Maryann (Flavin) of Melrose, formerly of Medford, August 25th. Beloved wife of the late Neil Sullivan, late retired Boston Firefighter. Mother of Neil Sullivan Jr. and his wife Jessica of Melrose, Sean Sullivan of Austin, Texas, Mark Sullivan and his wife Talin of Denver, Colorado and Brendan Sullivan and his fiancé Crystal Coppenrath of Everett. Grandmother of Thomas, Sophia, Anna, Kate, Taylor, Chloe, Aiden, Mackenzie, Zoe and Molly. Sister-in- law of Maryellen Callahan of Wakefield, Theresa Pinette of Medford, James Sullivan of Wakefield and the late Elizabeth McCormick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Maryann also had a loving family in Pennsylvania that were always near and dear to her heart. Maryann was raised in Medford, and was a devout Catholic who attended her Saturday Mass at St Patrick’s every week. She is a graduate of Girls Catholic High School in Malden, Class of 1964. For over 25 years she worked as an administrative assistant at Middlesex Community College. Maryann enjoyed traveling, attending musicals and especially coordinating the reunions of her graduating class at Girls Catholic. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday September 6th at 9 AM followed by her Funeral Mass celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Wyoming Cemetery in Melrose. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday September 5th from 4-7 PM.
