James Paul DiLuca, Sr., “Jim” to friends and family and “Duke” to some, passed away peacefully on August 17th, 2025 at the age of 88 at Northeast Rehabilitation Hospital in Salem, NH.
He was born on November 30th, 1936, in Malden, Massachusetts, where he met and married his wife of 52 years. They raised their family in Tewksbury, Massachusetts and retired to Newfound Lake in Bristol, New Hampshire in 2007.
James was the beloved husband of the late Patricia Ann (Hyatt) Di Luca and son of the late Antonio and Leonora Di Luca, He was the youngest of 7 siblings and the cherished ‘baby’ brother of the late Cecilia Sensale, Adeline Sensale Caruso, Angelo Di Luca, Phillip Di Luca, Joseph Di Luca, and Elvira Geder.
James was father to four adoring children, James Paul DiLuca, Jr. and his wife Jessica of Essex, Connecticut; the late Rhonda Ann Di Luca of Tewksbury, Massachusetts; Deborah Jean Killion and her husband Jesse of Pelham, New Hampshire; and Nicole Maria Delaney and her husband Thomas of Windham, New Hampshire; and
Grandfather to six loving grandchildren, Macy Christine and Hunter Thomas Delaney, James Paul DiLuca, III; Jesse James Jr., Summer Ann and Joshua Paul Killion.
James is also survived by many loving first, second, and third generations of nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, August 28th, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street Tewksbury, followed by a procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Parish 198 Haggetts Pond Rd Andover, MA, where his Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 A.M. Services will conclude with interment at Homeland Cemetery 378 Pleasant Street Bristol, New Hampshire.
