GARDNER___John E. “Jack” Parker, 60, of Gardner, formerly of Worcester passed away August 15, 2025 in his home. Jack is survived by his mother, Florence (Kasabula) Parker of Charlton; a brother, Raymond Parker and his wife, Carolyn of Worcester; two sisters, Kathleen Bronzo of North Brookfield and Patricia Letourneau and her husband, Andrew Letourneau, Sr., of Charlton; his nieces and nephew, Jennifer Bronzo, Julie Bronzo, Andrew Letourneau, Meghan Snow and Ashley Parker and several aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews. He also leaves his step-mother Carol Parker of Worcester and his step siblings, Kathy Loftus of Worcester, Kelly Martin and her husband Danny of N. Oxford and Eddie Loftus of Southbridge. He was preceded in death by his father Raymond E. Parker and his favorite aunt Joan Kasabula. Jack was born and raised in Worcester and graduated from Burncoat High School in 1983.
He was a plasterer’s assistant for many years working with his father at Ray’s Plastering and Valley Plastering. He also worked many years for A.J. Letourneau, Inc. His current work place since 2011 was Gaamha in Gardner, where his co-workers affectionately referred to him as Johnny. Jack enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing the lottery. Jack moved to Gardner to start his sober life having 15 years of sobriety of which he was very proud. He had a very tight knit community there. Our family would like to thank that community as it became his second family. Jack spread joy and kindness everywhere he went. He always had a smile on his face and a hand ready to help. Jack’s positive spirit will be greatly missed.
The funeral will be held on Friday August 22, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. in HENRY – DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester. Calling hours will be Friday August 22, 2025 from 9:00 to 11:00 A.M. in the funeral home with burial following at Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
