Brian W. Desilets, 77, of Derry, NH, died Saturday August 16, 2025 in his home with his wife and daughter by his side. He was born in Lowell, MA on February 26, 1948, the son of the late Joseph and Ruth (Sullivan) Desilets. He had been a resident of Derry for the past 49 years, formerly living in Salem, NH. Brian had been employed as a teacher for the Pelham School District for many years. He was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Derry. He loved spending time with family, working in his garden, and playing golf.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Nancy (Wojcik) Desilets of Derry; his daughter, Alicia R. Lopez and her husband Christopher of Warner, NH; three grandchildren, Caleb Lopez, Tanner Lopez and Lena Lopez; his brother, Brendan J. Desilets and his wife Cynthia Evans of Nashua, NH; three sisters, Lynn R. Desilets and her husband Richard Durand of Dracut, MA, Jan Marie Descoteaux of Lowell, MA, and Leanne E. Blanchette and her husband Richard of Dracut, MA; as well as several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at 10:00am in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Ave., Derry. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry.
