TEWKSBURY: Donald J. Marzeoti, age 68, a resident of Tewksbury for 41 years, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Lowell General Hospital, following an apparent heart attack.
He was the husband of Flora M. (Morris) Marzeoti, with whom he celebrated their 41st wedding anniversary on May 8th.
Born in Medford on September 25, 1937, he was the son of the late Francis and Pauline (Princepi) Marzeoti.
Mr. Marzeoti was raised in Medford and Somerville.
He attended Somerville schools.
Prior to his retirement in 1999, he was employed for over 20 years, as a coil winder by the Boston Transformer Company of Revere.
He was a member of the Tewksbury Lions Club and a life member of the Tewksbury-Wilmington Lodge of Elks # 2070.
Mr. Marzeoti enjoyed traveling with his wife and attending family gatherings.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by one brother; Francis “Frank” Marzeoti and his wife Kathy of Ft. Myers, FL; two sisters-in-law; Mary I. (Morris) DuBois and Pauline A. (Moriarty) Morris both of Tewksbury; one brother-in-law; Edward A. Morris and his wife Rose (DeCarolis) of Windham, NH; also many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Marzeoti was the brother-in-law of the late Catherine (Morris) Burris, Dorothy (Morris) Canty, Frances (Morris) Fawcett, Walter F., Raymond D. and Donald R. Morris.
Calling hours Monday, August 28th, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Prayers will be offered, Tuesday, August 29th, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Tewksbury Cemetery.
