Mary T. (Galvin) Sasso passed away on August 12, 2025. She was 95 years old.
Mary was a lifelong resident of Malden. She was a member of the Red Hats Society, as well as many other social clubs around the city.
Mary was the wife of the late Carmen A. Sasso. She was the loving mother of Angelo “Butch” Sasso and his wife Carol of Methuen, Dennis Sasso and his wife Karyn of west Peabody, and the late Terry Follo. Mary was the mother in-law of Paul Follo and his wife Lori. She was the sister of the late Francis Galvin, Gene Mooney, Edward Galvin, and Lillian “Chicky” Galvin. Mary was the cherished grandmother of Eric Follo and his wife Kara, Greg Follo, Shara Goodrich and her husband Chris, Crystal Connor and her husband Bart, Dee Silva and her partner Dayna Yorks, Kristen Elmore and her husband Adam, Alex Sasso, Bridgit Sasso, Michael Sasso, and Danielle Veilleux and her husband Tim. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Monday August 18th at 11:00am. Visitation will be held from 9:00am-11:00am prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
