On August 11th, Mary G (Lawton) Jurkowski passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving husband of 43 wonderful years Ronald R Jurkowski, family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents Leonard (John) Lawton and Olga (Betty) Lawton (Milaskevski) as well as her sister Betty Ann Lawton. Other than her husband Ronald, Mary is survived by her sister, Leslie M. Wilson and her husband Jonathan Wilson Sr., niece Kristi L. Wilson and nephew, Jonathan Wilson Jr. Mary will be greatly missed by her brother-in-law Donald (Roger) Jurkowski and wife Elaine, nephew Michael Jurkowski and wife Kimberly, cousin, Darlene Woodward and husband Steve. Also neighbor, Lynn Belanger, and lifelong friends Eva Wiseman and Rose Slate, as well as many other nieces and nephews. Traveling to Cape Cod, Disney, Universal and several casinos always made Mary happy. She enjoyed creating ceramic masterpieces so much that she asked Ron for her own Kiln. Mary loved Winnie the Pooh. Mary also loved her job as a Concierge at Baystate Medical Center where she worked for many years. A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday August 19, 2025 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee, with a prayer service to begin at 6:00 PM.
