Bruce J. Cordeiro, 79, of Westport, passed away on Tuesday, August 12, 2025 at St. Anne's Hospital. He was the husband of Mary E. (Corboy) Cordeiro, they shared 59 years of marriage.
Mr. Cordeiro was born in Fall River, son of the late Silvino "Steve" and Theresa (Lewis) Cordeiro had been a longtime resident of Fall River before relocating to Westport a couple of years ago. Prior to retirement, he worked as a truck driver for Fall River Florist Supply for 30 years. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors along with his wife include his son: Michael Cordeiro of Fall River; his daughter: Rhonda Pietrzyk and her husband Mark of Westport; a sister: Patricia Arruda of Steubenville, OH; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Friday, August 22, 2025 from 9:30-11:00 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
