Karen Ann (Monteiro) McNulty, 61 of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, July 31, 2025.
She was born on September 30, 1963 and was a daughter of the late Anthony and Joyce (McLeod) Monteiro.
Karen worked as a certified nurses assistant for around 10 years before an accident forced her disability and early retirement.
She was well known throughout Lowell, especially at the White Eagle in Downtown. She loved playing darts and riding motorcycles. Known for her unique sense of humor, she had a special talent for giving everyone she met a nickname. Above all, she cherished time spent with her beloved dog, Bella, and her family.
Karen is survived by her two daughters, Shannon Charbonneau and her husband, Leo of Dunstable, and Stephanie McNulty of Lowell; her ten grandchildren, Christian, Mason, Noah, Lilah, Rylie, Leo, Dominic, Mia, Taylor and Haley; and her significant other for the past 28 years, Robert O'Connor of Dracut.
She also leaves her siblings, Sharon Baroni and her husband, Brian of Billerica, Dawna Monteiro of Hudson, NH, and Michael Monteiro and his wife, Lisa of Dracut; also many nieces and nephews, including John Monteiro of Lowell.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, the late Courtney McNulty.
Her funeral services will be held privately.
