William (Billy) Davies passed away on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at Lahey Hospital in Burlington, MA, after a long battle with end-stage heart and kidney disease.
Born on September 21, 1960, to William and Jodi Davies, Billy grew up in Arlington, MA, attending the Locke Elementary School and the Ottoson Junior High School. At Minuteman Regional Vocational Technical High School, Billy studied automobile mechanics and began dating the love of his life, Karen Chipman. After graduation, he went on to work in the service department of Lexington's Toyota Dealership, where he advanced to assistant manager. Billy and Karen were married on April 26, 1985, and enjoyed many fishing and motorcycle trips together. Later, his greatest joy was cheering his daughter on at every one of her soccer games.
Billy is pre-deceased by his wife, Karen (Chipman) Davies. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca (Davies) and Scott Lynch, his mother, Jodi (Waters) Davies, his sister, Shirley Davies, his nephew, Jeff Hall, and his cat, Greyson. Billy also had many dear cousins, friends, and neighbors, whom he truly enjoyed spending time with.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, at Saint William's Catholic Church (1351 Main St., Tewksbury, MA 01876). There will be a wake from 10:00-11:15 AM, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:30 AM and private burial thereafter. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Billy's memory to the Tewksbury Community Pantry (999 Whipple Rd, Tewksbury, MA 01876)
