Olivia Rose Machakos, 24, of New Boston, New Hampshire, residing in Grapevine, Texas, passed away on July 28, 2025.
Born on August 7, 2000, in Manchester, NH, Olivia grew up in New Boston and relocated to Grapevine, TX, in April 2023. A graduate of Goffstown High School and Stonehill College in Easton, MA, she earned her degree in Business Marketing and pursued her dream of exploring the world as a flight attendant with American Airlines.
Olivia embraced life with fearless determination and a passion for new experiences. She was an avid reader, loved travel, the outdoors, hiking, skiing, and spending time near the ocean. Her mantra, “I’m not going to worry about it, I’ll figure it out,” reflected the confidence and grace with which she met life’s challenges.
Her decision to move across the country to Texas exemplified her courage and independence. Olivia was never intimidated by the unknown—she welcomed it. Her infectious energy encouraged others to chase their passions, step beyond their comfort zones, and live fully.
She is survived by her loving parents, Jim and Tracy Machakos; her sister, Libby Machakos and husband Alex Kelley; and her grandparents, Ron and Kathy Butler. She was predeceased by her grandparents Jim and Ruth Machakos.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, August 8, from 4 to 7 PM at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge Street, Manchester, NH. A celebration of life service will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 10 am at the New Boston Cemetery on Cemetery Road.
Olivia’s compassionate heart, adventurous spirit, and uplifting presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
