Homer would never pass up the opportunity for a car ride to enjoy the natural beauty on the way. If he ended up at a casino, well that would just be a bonus. Apart from the casino, his favorite destination was the coast where he loved smelling the salty air and getting an ice-cold beer with a bowl of chowder. He loved to be with his family, especially his grandchildren. His family loved his grumpy, playful demeanor that made every occasion more enjoyable. His personality was always on display as he seemed to know everyone he encountered.
