Susan (Berube) Hansen, age 73, passed away peacefully at her home in Tewksbury on Wednesday, July 30, 2025.
She was the devoted wife of Gerry Hansen with whom she would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on August 18, 2025. She was also the beloved mother of John Peter Hansen and the late Patrick Hansen and grandmother to Liam Hansen.
Susan was born on September 28, 1951, as the first child of the late Donald Berube and the late Catherine (Sheehan) Berube.
She attended local catholic schools graduating from Keith Hall in 1969 and from Lowell State in 1973 where she studied social work.
One of her favorite jobs was her time at Indian Ridge Country Club in Andover. She worked there for many years until she became an amazing caregiver for her family.
She most enjoyed cooking, baking cookies, and spending time with her family, especially her grandson Liam.
In addition to her immediate family, she is survived by an extensive family who will miss her dearly.
Calling hours are Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 9 am to 11am at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, followed by her Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30am at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury. Services will conclude with interment at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East Street, Tewksbury.
