NORTH GROSVENORDALE, CT – Robert M. “Bobby” White, 57, passed away suddenly on Saturday, July 26 in Day Kimball Hospital, Putnam from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident. He wasn’t a man of fancy words or formalities- he was real, and he lived on his own terms.
He leaves his long time partner, Melissa A. Weagle; 2 daughters, Kayla E. White and her companion Brandon LaBonte and Emily M. White and her companion Garrett Carlson, all of North Grosvenordale; his mother, MaryAnn (Haynes) White and her companion Keith Mosier of Pinellas Park, FL; a brother, William A. White III and his companion Terri Chisholm of Tarpon Springs, FL; 2 sisters, Michelle Earle and Rebecca Patterson and her husband Jim, all of Webster; 2 grandchildren, Jaxon and Veda LaBonte; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Born in Webster, MA on June 3, 1968, he was the son of the late William A. White, Jr. Bobby owned and operated New England Wood Framers.
He was most at home outdoors, whether he was riding his motorcycle with his buddies, out in the woods hunting, flying across the snow on his snowmobile, or tending to his vegetable garden. If it had an engine or fresh air he was in.
More than anything, he loved his two girls and grandchildren. They were the light of his life, and anyone who knew him heard a story or two about them, usually with a proud grin on his face.
He leaves behind a family who loved him deeply, a circle of close friends who shared the road and the woods with him and memories that will stick like dirt on a well-worn pair of boots.
He will be laid to rest next to his father in a private graveside service that will be held at the convenience of the family. A celebration of his life will be held on August 8th, 12 to 5pm at Valley Springs Sportsmans Club, 65 Valley Road, North Grosvenordale , CT 06255
In lieu of flowers, a fund has been established to support Bobby’s children and help with expenses at his home. Donations may be made at Bank Hometown, 835 Riverside Dr. N.
