HOEY, Barbara A. (Isberg) of Jamaica Plain, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025. Beloved wife of the late Francis M. “Bingo” Hoey, Sr. Devoted mother of Francis M. “Franny” Hoey, Jr. of Jamaica Plain and his former wife Patricia of Wareham, Ellen A. Berry and her husband Robert of RI, Christopher M. Hoey and his wife Lisa of Watertown, John F. Hoey and his wife Maura of West Roxbury, Patrick E. Hoey and his wife Josephine of Hyde Park, and the late Michael J. Hoey. Barbara was predeceased by 7 siblings. Loving grandmother of Ryan, Lindsay, Patrick, Christopher, Brendan, Liam, Amber, and the late Kristen. Great grandmother of Ellie Rose. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a proud member of Local 26 the Hotel and Restaurant Workers Union. Funeral from the William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre St., West Roxbury, on Tuesday, August 5th at 9:00am. Followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Theresa of Avila Church at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Private.
